‘Babagwa’ competes in Warsaw
Apart from Hawaii and Vancouver, Jason Paul Laxamana’s “Babagwa” will compete in the 29th Warsaw International Film Festival in October.
“Babagwa” will vie for the top prize in a section for first- and second-time directors, says producer Joji Alonso.
An entry in this year’s Cinemalaya New Breed section, “Babagwa” will be shown in selected cinemas in the country starting Sept. 18. Bayani San Diego Jr.
