Chie Filomeno set the record straight on speculations about her health, stressing that she does not suffer from an eating disorder amid her slim physique.

The actress seemingly could not help but respond to a netizen who asked if she was anorexic, through the comments section of  Filomeno’s Instagram post last Friday, Aug. 23.

The netizen’s curiosity on Filomeno’s health apparently stemmed from the actress’ bikini photos taken in Cebu. In the photos, Filomeno flaunted her slim physique while donning a green two-piece swimsuit.

This is not the first time Filomeno opened up about her health and her body. In a 2023 interview, the “A Very Good Girl” actress spoke about being body-shamed for being thin.

While she said she refuses to be bothered by tactless comments about her weight, Filomeno admitted that she still experiences “bad days.”

“I’m like those petite girls na sinasabihan na ‘kumain ka nga, kumakain ka ba?’” she said at the time. “We get hurt. We’re just human. We get hurt, we cry and then we laugh.”
