Paulina Sotto on separation from husband: 'The last thing I ever wanted'

Paulina Sotto spoke about her separation from her husband Jed Llanes, saying it was not what she wanted but that some things “cannot be undone.”

Paulina, the daughter of Vic Sotto and former actress Angela Luz, confirmed through her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, July 23, that she and Llanes had indeed parted ways.

Her clarification came days after she declared she is “navigating a new life chapter as a single mom.”

“To clear out any confusion, yes, we are separated,” she said in her recent post. “This is the last thing I ever wanted for our family, but there are things that cannot be undone.”

While Paulina did not expound on the reason behind the separation, she expressed her gratitude for the support she has been receiving.

“Very thankful for all the love and support,” she stated.

Paulina revealed being a single parent last July 17, saying that life goes on despite the “crazy last few weeks with lots of ups and downs.”

“Thankful for what the past 10 years have given me—my beautiful daughter. Now on to better things,” she added.

Paulina and Llanes got married on New Year’s Day of 2017 in Nasugbu, Batangas. The former couple then welcomed their daughter Sachi in September 2020.
