Kyline Alcantara, Kobe Paras insist they are just ‘great friends’

Despite photos of the two of them being sweet to one another, Kyline Alcantara and Kobe Paras insist that they are only “great friends” for now.
The two walked the recent GMA gala together for the first time and continued to intrigue the netizens about their real status. However, Paras set the record straight: they are friends for now.
“We are great friends. Bakit girlfriend agad? Nagtanong na ba ako? We are just great friends right now, really close friends,” he told GMA News.
In a separate interview, the two answered the things they think the other could not live without.
Alcantara said, “Kobe is not Kobe without basketball and his family.”

She’s very ambitious about what she does. I feel like Kyline wouldn’t be Kyline without being a professional actress,” he explained.

Over the last two months, Alcantara and Paras have had a few public sightings that continue to speak for their growing closeness.
Early this month, the two attended the birthday party of their common friend and were seen “so close” with each other in the photos. Alcantara also attended the opening of Paras’ tattoo shop, where the latter was seen plotting a kiss on the actress’ forehead.
The dating rumors between them sprang up in May after eagle-eyed netizens noticed that they were at the same restaurant in Makati at the same time, based on their Instagram posts.
At the end of the month, the basketball player left a hearty-eyed emoji on Alcantara’s photo. He also shared the actress’ image on his Instagram page, along with a white heart emoji.
In June, the two further went viral after they were spotted walking in a parking lot at BGC hand in hand.
