Bea Alonzo on status of her heart: ‘I’m very single’

As she geared up for her much-anticipated role in “Widows’ War,” Bea Alonzo gave a quick update on the status of her heart, asserting that she’s “very much single.”
In an ambush interview, the Kapuso actress gave a straightforward answer when asked if she’s currently in love or ready to be in love again.
“Hindi (no),” Alonzo confidently said, laughing. “I’m very single.”
In February, Alonzo and her former fiancé Dominic Roque made headlines after confirming their separation after three years of dating.
Contrary to accusations that she initiated the breakup, Alonzo recently set the record straight, stressing that it was not her who ended the relationship.
“Actually, that’s false. Hindi ako ang nakipag-break (I’m not the one who initiated the breakup),” she said in an interview on “24 Oras.”

The “One More Chance” actress also requested that the conversation about her previous love life be finally put to rest as an act of respect to the other party, stating that “she wanted to leave it in a beautiful manner.”
Meanwhile, entertainment talk-show host Ogie Diaz recently filed a complaint for perjury and sought damages against Alonzo after the latter filed a cyber libel complaint against the former.
Amid their legal battle, Diaz vowed that their “work” to deliver showbiz updates to the public continues. The host-talent manager shared in his latest vlog that Alonzo was reportedly already seeing someone, which was now debunked by the actress’s new statement affirming that she’s single.
“Walang libelous do’n, that’s good news, darling. Ibig sabihin naka-move on na si Bea kasi mayroon na siyang bagong boyfriend,” asserted Diaz.
(There’s nothing libelous about that because that’s good news, darling. It means that Bea has moved on because she has a new boyfriend.)
In the vlog, Diaz also claimed, citing his source, that the reason for Alonzo and Dominic’s breakup had something to do with religion.
