Kim Atienza dismissed yet again another false report about his supposed death, lamenting how it was even spread by a fake account that uses GMA Network’s logo.

Through his Instagram page on Monday, June 3, Atienza showed a screenshot of a fake obituary card that pays tribute to him. He included in the card the word “HOAX.”

In 2020, Atienza also became victim of a death hoax that claimed the TV host was involved in a shooting incident and in critical condition.

“I am very much alive and still working,” he said at the time. “I tried to pass this off and be quiet but my friends and family are worried. I have to address this fake news item now.”

Meanwhile, Atienza recently made headlines after his 19-year-old daughter, Eliana, joined an on-campus pro-Palestine encampment and was kicked out of her dorm in the University of Pennsylvania.

Atienza came to Eliana’s defense, saying “he and the rest of his family support his daughter and her advocacies.”
