Yen Santos echoes Heart Evangelista: Stop giving away your heart like it’s candy

Yen Santos, whose relationship with Paolo Contis is rumored to be on the rocks, seemingly expressed her agreement with fellow actress Heart Evangelista, who advised to not easily give away one’s heart like a candy.
Santos shared via her Instagram Stories on Thursday, May 23, an excerpt from Evangelista’s May 2023 interview on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.” The clip Santos shared was uploaded by Instagram user @mmorbss.
“If I were to speak to who I was before, [I would say], ‘Stop giving away your heart like it’s candy. Treasure yourself. Love yourself. Treasure your heart and your soul, because that’s what’s gonna save you in the end,'” Evangelista said in the video.
Santos did not include any caption on her shared post, only tagging one @riverayanna.

Santos and Contis were romantically linked to each other for over year before they confirmed their relationship in January 2023. Months after the confirmation, the actor declared that he planned to marry Santos sometime in the future.
However, the couple has been a subject of breakup rumors since earlier this month, after Santos unfollowed the actor and removed their photos together on her Instagram page.
Contis was asked about the status of their relationship in a recent media event, but the actor said he had “no comment” about it. He further noted that he wants to keep some parts of his personal life to himself as the public already knows a lot about it.
Santos has yet to publicly address the matter as of this writing.
