Loisa Andalio, Ronnie Alonte help raise funds for Valenzuela church

Celebrity couple Loisa Andalio and Ronnie Alonte, who make up the romantic tandem popularly known as “LoiNie,” took a break from their busy professional commitments to appear in a fund-raising event in Valenzuela City over the weekend.
The two were spotted sharing laughs and mingling with their fans at the “Bottles for Blessings” event held at Happy Go Shopping Mall in Barangay Punturan in Valenzuela City on Saturday, May 4, with the proceeds going to the Saint Joseph the Worker Parish Church in the same village.
The church reportedly needed money for renovation works and other charity programs, and Iceberg Insulated flasks sought to help raise some amount for it. The Filipino-owned brand has tapped Andalio and Alonte not only as celebrity endorsers but also as business partners.
“Masaya kasi siyempre nakakatulong itong Iceberg na brand sa mga tao, and nakakatuwang ma-meet iyong taong warriors, mga lumalaban sa buhay (We’re happy, of course, because Iceberg helps people, and we had fun meeting warriors, those who persevere in life),” Andalio told INQUIRER.net when the couple faced members of the media at Café Andrea in Meycauayan City after the event.
“Nakaka-inspire sila, na mabigyan pa natin ng pansin na matulungan natin sila (It is inspiring to give them attention and help them),” she continued, and to which Alonte agreed.

The actor and professional cager also likened their relationship to the new “magnetic sports lid” that the brand introduced, which allows mobile phone users to stick their devices to the flask. “So ako iyong cell phone, siya (Andalio) iyong magnet. So [kapag] nag-connect iyon, parang forever, ’di ba? (So I’m the cell phone, and she is the magnet. So when they connect, it’s like forever, right?)” he said.
Andalio said that like in every relationship, keeping the “magnetism” between the two takes a lot of effort. “Kailangan wino-work out talaga siya. Kasi mahirap kung papabayaan n’yo na lang pwedeng mawala iyong magnet. Alam mo iyong wala na, kapag pinapabayaan ang relasyon? (It really takes a lot of work. Because it’s hard if you just neglect, the magnetism will go away. You know those who gave up, and neglected the relationship?)” she explained.
Although both of them declared to stay on with each other for good, the couple denied that wedding bells are in the offing soon. “Sabi ko, beh, kapag mayaman na mayaman na tayo doon tayo magpakasal. Kapag kaya na natin. Work-work muna, papalaguin pa natin ito di ba? (I said, babe, let’s get married when we’re really rich. When we can do it. Let’s work first, and grow this some more, right?) More brands to come,” Andalio said.
Alonte, meanwhile, told couples who look up to them to have respect for each other. “Bukod do’n, siguro iyong plano ninyo sa buhay, ano ang future ninyo. Kasi once na pinag-uusapan ninyo ang future ninyo, doon mo nakikitang seryoso ang partner mo (Aside from that, it’s also the planning for your life, what your future will be. Because once you talk about your future, that’s how you can tell your partner is serious),” he shared.

The actor is currently busy with his professional career as a cager, playing for the Biñan Tatak Gel Beast Motorcycle Tires GameX squad in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL). He suited up for the team just last March.
Andalio, meanwhile, teased another Kapamilya teleserye after the hit ABS-CBN and TV5 collaboration “Pira-Pirasong Paraiso” where Alonte also appeared. “Pero kasi marami pang teleseryeng hindi lumalabas, so coming soon pa lang (But there are still so many series not yet released, so they’re just coming soon),” she said.
The two shared that they recently worked on a film together, “Three Words,” under TEN17P, with Andalio’s fellow “Pinoy Big Brother” alumnus Fifth Solomon on the director’s chair.
