Though he’s been in show biz for more than 30 years, Martin Nievera insists he has many more unfulfilled dreams. One of these, he says, is playing in a band, a frustration from back when he was 16. It may be too late to go down that road now, but he gets to live the fantasy once in a while.
Providing a throwback to the glory days of big bands and standards, concert king Martin Nievera takes on the blues, soul and big band styles of the yesteryears – but done with the accessibility of a modern pop album. Titled as “Big Mouth, Big Band,” the new album will be available in November 2014 in all record bars nationwide released by PolyEast Records.

If you’re used to watching Martin Nievera on TV struggle with notes that are already too high for him, his latest album, “My Acoustic,” will enable you to see—and hear—him in a different light. His renditions in the compilation recall the vocal magnificence and unforced allure of his early hits, like “The Best Gift,” “Meldy (Make A Smile)” and “Love for Real.”
