There was talk that Superstar Nora Aunor had been replaced by Eula Valdez in the coming TV5 soap “Never Say Goodbye.” Turned out, the rumor was false on at least two counts.

Perci Intalan, the network’s creative and entertainment production head, told the Inquirer: “We had to lessen the scenes of Ate Guy (Nora’s nickname) because she often got sick. But she is still part of the soap.”

He explained that they merely added “flashback” scenes with Eula Caballero (not Valdez) playing the young Nora. Mystery solved. Bayani San Diego Jr.
