Thea Tolentino rejects rumors of her involvement in video scandal, tells people to ‘get a life’

Kapuso actress Thea Tolentino was quick to clear her name and defend herself when an alleged video scandal recently made the rounds on social media and had people gossiping whether it was Tolentino in the video or not.
Tolentino took to her official Facebook page yesterday, July 3, to air her grievances and vehemently deny her involvement in such a scandal.
“Hello. Just posting this to make things clear. HINDI AKO YON,” Tolentino wrote. “Bahala kayo kung maniniwala kayo sakin or not, wala akong pakialam. Grabe. Daming bastos.”
Tolentino also told those who know the Facebook accounts of her loved ones to refrain from messaging them, saying they are already stressed with their own lives.
“Pati ako,” she said. “Tapos dadagdagan pa ng mga nagkakalat ng mga false informations [sic]. GET A LIFE.”
Tolentino also addressed the allegations on her Twitter account yesterday and today, July 4.
One netizen (@GRABEsyaNoh) tweeted about the alleged scandal, “Thea Tolentino scandal why oh why di ka nag ingat.”
Tolentino, however, clarified yesterday to the netizen that it was not her in the video. She retweeted the netizen’s tweet on her account and wrote back, “May nag send sakin sa email last week about that. Tinanong ako, ‘Thea may scandal ka na kumakalat. Totoo ba yun?’ Didn’t bother me naman kasi alam ko sa sarili ko na wala akong ganon.”
She added, “I am 101% sure na hindi ako yon. Kilala ko sarili ko lol. Bahala kayo diyan.”

Tolentino also kept her cool yesterday by making light of the situation, even going as far as saying that she and the girl in the video had similiar features.
“Kagabi, a friend of mine sent the video. Kasi natakot siya for me. NATAWA AKO! SERYOSO,” wrote Tolentino. “KASI MAY HAWIG KAMI! Lalo na sa umpisa. Yung angle din. Same face shape.”
“Pero, hindi naman sa mayabang ako o ano, mas maliit po waist line ko and pusod palang iba na.”

There was a change of tone, however, in Tolentino’s tweets this morning as the allegations seemed to have crossed over and started affecting her loved ones.
“Matagal na akong gumiveup na kumausap ng mga taong makikitid ang utak dahil kahit ano namang sabihin sa kanila, may ibabato silang mga salita na hindi naman pinagisipan,” said Tolentino honestly. “Ang ayoko lang kasi talaga ay yung pati mga magulang ko, kamaganak, kaibigan e binubulabog niyo.”
Matagal na kong gumiveup na kumausap ng mga taong makikitid ang utak dahil kahit ano namang sabihin sakanila, may ibabato silang mga salita na hindi naman pinagisipan.

Tolentino also shared this morning that she doesn’t care if people will keep forcing the idea that it is her in the video scandal, wondering why she even has to please people and force them to believe her in the first place.
“Ang importante lang naman ay alam ko at ng mga mahal ko sa buhay ang totoo.”
Wala akong pakialam kung ipagpilitan niyo paring ako. Bakit ko ba kayo ipplease at pipiliting maniwala na hindi ako yon?
