Apparently Cavite Vice Gov. Jolo Revilla couldn’t help but express his happiness after girlfriend Jodi Sta. Maria publicly admitted her feelings for him.

On “Tonight with Boy Abunda,” Sta. Maria declared for the first time on national TV that she had given her heart to Revilla.

The 29-year-old actor-politician took to social media to share his reaction. He posted the video clip of Sta. Maria’s declaration on Instagram and said, “Love hindi lang ako kinilig ng slight, kundi hanggang langit ang kilig (Love, not only am I slightly giddy, it’s through the roof)! I love you now and forever.”

On Facebook, he said, “Wagas ang kilig ko Love! Parang kakasagot mo pa lang sa akin  (My love for you is pure! It feels like the first time you said yes to me)! I love you now and forever!”

The couple started dating in 2012 until Sta. Maria confirmed in 2016 that they had broken up. Since then, it appears they have reunited and have maintained their low-key romance.

The “Pangako Sa ‘Yo” actress was married to politician Pampi Lacson and has a son with him. Revilla also has a son with former partner Grace Adriano.  /ra
