What would you give your loved ones this holiday season? What would you like to receive this holiday season? What’s your wish for the coming year? What’s your most memorable Christmas?

Actress Lorna Tolentino and sons Renz and Rap Fernandez share with the Inquirer their fondest holiday wishes, thoughts and memories.

Lorna says she’s now “trying to figure out what Rap and Renz need or use often.” “I will try to get something useful and practical for them. Simple things that they can depend on, to pursue a healthy lifestyle.”

As for her own Christmas wish, Lorna yearns for “success, happiness and peace in Christ Jesus.”

Rap hopes to give “some highlighters to my mom and boxing gloves for Renz.” “An iPhone X” tops Rap’s wish list. “I also would like to have a steady source of income this year…via a bunch of TV and movie projects.”

Renz, for his part, plans to give his mom and brother “monocrystalline solar panels with battery so they will have free, renewable energy from the sun.”

Renz asserts that “apart from material gifts, I want to change and become the best person I can be so that my family will be proud of me. So that I can be a good influence on others.”

Renz likewise wishes to “land more acting jobs, in order to hone my craft and become a better actor.”

Lorna recalls that their most memorable Christmases was when husband Rudy Fernandez was still around.

Rap agrees: “When my dad was still alive, we had the best celebrations. It was never the same again after he passed away in 2008.”

Renz remarks: “My father was my idol. I looked up to him.”—BAYANI SAN DIEGO JR.
