Jay Sonza’s post intrigues netizens: Is Ellen Adarna pregnant, and is she even his niece?

Veteran newscaster Jay Sonza surprised netizens with his intriguing post about a “favorite niece” currently abroad and taking a break.
In a recent Facebook post, the former columnist shared his conversation with his “niece.”
He started off by stating a disclaimer: “Hindi ito breaking news!” (This is not breaking news.)
Taking from the conversation, the niece buzzed up Sonza and casually apologized for not informing him about her vacation to avoid gossip seekers.
Just when Sonza asked back how she was, she gave a shocking reply, “ok lang tito. heto, malapit kanang maging lolo.” (I’m okay, uncle. You’re about to become a grandfather.)
As it seems his niece isn’t saying a joke, she reconfirmed her news, “sabi mo sakin blessings and ganito diba. kaya bless ako.” (You told me things like these are blessings, right? So, I’m blessed.)
The rest of the statements from Sonza’s niece made netizens speculate on who she might be:
“Diba sabi mo sakin pag gusto kong mamahinga at mamasyal ay puntahan ko ang saint tropez, nice, morocco or venice, am here tito,” (Didn’t you tell me that if I want to rest and stroll, I should go to Saint Tropez, Nice, Morocco or Venice? I’m here, uncle.)
The places she mentioned rang a bell to Sonza’s followers. Incidentally, rumored couple Ellen Adarna and John Lloyd Cruz are currently in vacation and have gone to Morocco.
When Sonza asked who she is with, she replied, “siyempre tito, ang akong luv. yong pinakilala ko sayo lately. siya. siya na yon.” (Of course [I’m with] my love. The one I introduced to you. That’s him.)
Noticeably, the niece’s reply was partly written in Visayan. Adarna speaks the language as she hails from Cebu.

She then assured her uncle that she and her guy are good. Moreover, she mentioned that she is all the more happy because the guy has already proposed to her. She said, “Wala lang. baka gusto mo lang puntahan kami dito. you know. nagpropose na kasi siya. yeheey so happy,” (It’s nothing. But you might want to come here, coz’ you know, he already proposed to me. So happy.)
Just when Sonza said he is happy for them, his niece didn’t reply anymore. And that’s when the veteran broadcaster dropped a name: “Hoy, Elena. hoy bakit di kana sumasagot?” (Hey, Elena. Hey, why won’t you answer anymore?)

Netizens then asked Sonza if his “niece” was indeed Adarna.

However, a credible source denied that Sonza is Adarna’s uncle. Sonza is reportedly not in any way related to the actress. Meanwhile, Cruz is currently on an indefinite leave from ABS-CBN and flew off to another country to attend to personal matters.
Pregnancy rumors have also hounded the actress in the past. As of this writing, the actress hasn’t spoken anything about this issue.
