“I’ve passed the stage of bitterness – I’ve moved on,” said singer-actress Sarah Geromino when asked about her short but controversial romance with actor-dancer Rayver Cruz early this year.

“It was a painful experience, but I’m OK now,” Sarah told the media during a gathering for her new film “I Won’t Last a Day Without You” with Gerald Anderson. “I prayed hard over it. I sought the help of close friends. If there was anything good about the experience, it was that it helped me play the role of Haidee more effectively.”

In the romantic comedy by first-time director Raz de la Torre, Sarah plays a disc jockey who offers advice to the lovesick. Conflict arises when she falls in love with Andrew (Gerald), a happy-go-lucky guy who plays around with girls.

“Unlike Haidee, I find it hard to bare my thoughts on love,” Sarah explained. “Also, she suffered from losing a five-year relationship. I guess my experience wasn’t as painful as that, so I was able to moved on faster.”
