Angel Locsin: I’m dating a non-showbiz guy

Angel Locsin is all smiles these days, admitting that a “non-showbiz” guy is inspiring her.
The 31-year-old actress revealed in an interview with TV Patrol that she has been hanging out lately with a guy she declined to identify.
“Lumalabas ako ngayon, yes. Lumalabas ako ngayon (I am going out [with him]),” Locsin said. “Kaka-start din naman. Huwag na nating pangunahan (We just started anyway. Let us not prematurely conclude).”
“But happy heart naman (Nevertheless, I’m happy heart),” she added.
Although Locsin is still in the dating status, she makes sure to focus on that special someone and dedicate her time to him. “Pag nag-date naman ako, exclusive naman. (Whenever I date, it’s exclusive),” she explained. “Never naman akong nag-date nang sabay-sabay. Wala namang ganun (I have never dated more than one guy at any specific period. There’s nothing like that).”

Locsin even gave a helpful advice when it comes to dating, “‘Pag nag-focus ako sa isang tao, yun muna…and ‘pag di naging okay, ‘di move on (When I focus on one person, [I focus on] him only. And when it [relationship] doesn’t turn out okay, then move on).”
Locsin vehemently denied dating Niño Barbers, the son of former senator Robert Barbers, after the pair was sighted at the Cinemalaya 2016 premiere.
“Never kaming nag-date ni Niño, magkaibigan kami (Niño and I never dated. We are friends),” she said. “Nahiya nga ako sa kanya kasi bigla siyang naisyu sa mga tao, pero wala talaga (I felt ashamed that people made an issue out of him, when there’s none at all.)
Last year, Locsin called it quits with actor Luis Manzano after a year of dating. Manzano is now dating actress Jessy Mendiola. Gianna Francesca Catolico /ra
