“Attending and being nominated at the 44th International Emmy Awards is a memorable experience. Making new friends, sharing a glimpse of the Filipino hospitality to my fellow nominees, proudly speaking about the beauty of the Philippines and representing the country to 15 nations made it more meaningful and special,” Sta. Maria said.

Aside from Filipino pride, she firmly believes that Filipinos’ craft in the performing arts can reach international heights. “I believe we are ready for the global scene..the international stage is opening up and there are opportunities to showcase our talents worldwide,” she captioned her post.  Gianna Francesca Catolico
