Unrepentant, actress-singer Agot Isidro said she stands by her highly critical comments against President Duterte, which drew mixed reactions from netizens.

Isidro became controversial when she called the foul-mouthed President on her Facebook account a “psychopath.” She trended on Twitter for her remarks, which also slammed Duterte for his misplaced arrogance as if he were the head of a First World country. She was reacting to reports Duterte belittled the aids extended by the US, the EU and other international agencies as “crumbs” and didn’t care if they should withdraw future assistance to the Philippines.

Isidro was slammed by many Duterte supporters saying that such reaction was unexpected of the normally tamed and contained Isidro. However, there were many others who supported her, including fellow actress Cherry Pie Picache who expressed her disapproval of extrajudicial killing and death penalty.

Isidro, unfazed, has posted another comment slamming violence.
