Controlling time

/ 12:11 AM November 08, 2014

In the ancient Vedic literature, Bhagavad-gita, the Supreme Lord declares that, while time subdues many things, it is He who ultimately subdues time. Some thoughts to consider:

Time is a controlling force that makes flowers wither. It can take away wealth and fame. Old age affects the way we run, walk, jump or climb.

An aging body is like an old car that has lost much of its power. Sooner or later, the car can no longer be repaired. So, we shouldn’t get attached to material possessions.

The human body is part of a spiritual energy that is imperishable. The Supreme Being is the master controller of all, and time bows to His authority.
