Derek Ramsay’s son: ‘Why can he spend time with other women but not with me?’
MANILA, Philippines — Derek Ramsay’s son is not happy about his dad seeing other women, the legal counsel of Mary Christine Jolly, estranged wife of the actor, said Wednesday, adding that a video showing Ramsay and Kris Aquino supposedly dating has hurt the boy’s feelings.

“The video clip of a blushing Kris and a pretending-to-be-coy Derek was viewed by Derek’s son, Austin, who expressed his emotional distress and discomfort of seeing his father with another woman and who wondered aloud about the fact that his father can spend time with other women but not with him,” lawyer Argee Guevarra said in a statement.
The video in question shows Aquino leaning on Ramsay’s shoulder in a fashion event, sparking rumors whether the two are a couple.
Guevarra also stated that Austin has only met his father four times in the last three years and that the only conversation between the father-and-son allegedly involved “Derek’s constant boasts about his abs and his ownership of an Audi R8 and a Ferrari.”
The lawyer said that the video might be used as an evidence to support their Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC) charge that they plan to file before the Department of Justice.
Jolly withdrew her case against the actor before the Makati city Prosecutor’s Office Monday, assailing the preliminary investigation conducted.
Ramsay said that he hopes that the feud between his estranged wife will be resolved and the custody for his son will be granted by the court in his favor.
