INQUIRER.net teams up with RisingStars for improved online karaoke experience
MANILA, Philippines – INQUIRER.net has unveiled its new partnership with Singapore-based RisingStars, an online social network and talent discovery platform for karaoke enthusiasts.
The launching of this new interactive music feature on the INQUIRER.net takes its entertainment section to the next level by creating a fun and exciting sing-along community where avid readers and visitors of the site can sing, record, publish, interact, and share their performances on social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, and Google+ — all powered by RisingStars’ convenient, easy, and fast online karaoke technology platform.
Like any other social networking site, RisingStars will allow INQUIRER.net readers to create a user profile, connect with other users, and meet new friends within the online karaoke community. Once a registered member, they can start to listen, view, vote, and comment on others’ recordings, they can even compete with fellow users. Music video postcards are customizable and users may write special messages and send their best performances to their family and friends for their loved ones to enjoy.
The “RISINGSTARS” tab in the entertainment section leads to the online karaoke community portal. Akin to a music library and a virtual recording studio, RisingStars is a music hub where you can pick a song, practice, playback, record, edit, render sound effects, and pitch correct your performance, all done online without any need for software download and installation.
RisingStars CEO Andrew Gonczi said, “We are delighted to launch this partnership, which places the best online karaoke experience anywhere just one click away to INQUIRER.net readers, while our own users will have instant access to national and global news, articles, and all other INQUIRER.net content.”
Since the launch of the Philippine website in 2012, RisingStars has also exerted effort in making its presence felt on-ground. Currently, RisingStars is touring around the country’s key cities, hosting singing competitions made possible by its portable recording studio booth. This outreach activity aims to encourage, inspire, and fulfill the dreams of aspiring Filipino singers to showcase their talents before a live audience. Recently, RisingStars discovered a new breed of talented singers in renowned festivities like the Sinulog Festival in Cebu and the Dinagyang Festival in Iloilo.
