Drugged-out teen star lands in hospital

Fame came too quickly for Teen Star. Fans prayed that handlers would intervene. Unfortunately, the adults in TS’ camp were enablers. Is this because they are all dependent on TS who is the clan’s cash cow?
TS often show up at work drugged and dazed. From weed, TS had moved on to harder stuff, which invariably brought him to the emergency room after he OD’d one horrific night.
Instead of having TS committed to a rehab center, managers covered up the incident, allegedly conspiring with hospital administrators. The official word was that TS had been downed by a bug. Maybe a virus called Ecstasy.
Fear factor
Gorgeous Hunk was in a hurry to transfer to another studio, noticing that Estranged Boss was calling the shots in former channel.
They had a major falling-out not so long ago and GH was certain he would be put in the freezer with EB around.
Actually, GH’s career slowed down long before EB entered frame. All that network-hopping did GH no good. Will his latest move make a difference?
Deal breaker
Controversial Star and Media Personality were once bosom buddies. Since familiarity does breed contempt, MP soon irked CS.
MP’s brutal honesty proved to be the deal breaker. Turned out, CS couldn’t handle the truth—especially whenever MP transmitted the complaints of CS’ Former Flame.
CS knocked on the bosses’ door and tried to have MP sacked. CS succeeded … for a while. But MP bounced back, much to CS’ dismay.
A cease-fire prevails between CS and MP.

Sticky fingers
Heard on the Radyo Inquirer program “Kliq Showbiz” (dzIQ 990 AM, Monday to Friday, 3 to 5 p.m.):
Glamorous Celebrity, who once got in trouble for having sticky fingers, did it again recently.
Poor production assistants lent GC several fashion accessories for a show. After the event, GC left in a huff without bothering to return the bangles, beads and bracelets.
When the hapless stylists inquired about the trinkets, GC acted all coy and innocent. The faux gems have not been located.
Deo thief
Picked up from the Inquirer tabloid Bandera:
Flashy Comic has been banned from a neighborhood convenience store.
Sales clerk noticed that FC would drop by every day and leave without buying anything.
The staff checked the CCTV and discovered that FC would surreptitiously try out various roll-on deodorant brands!
Turned out, FC was scrimping on toiletries. The outrageously talented FC was swiftly barred from the premises.
CRISTINE Reyes and Derek Ramsay came out as a couple last week.
