‘On the Job,’ Joel Torre win in Korea

Filipinos won big at the 17th Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival in South Korea last week. Filmmaker Erik Matti’s “On the Job” won jury’s choice; lead star Joel Torre, Best Actor. An entry in the Directors’ Fortnight of this year’s Cannes fest in France, “On the Job” will open in local cinemas on Aug. 28. It also stars Piolo Pascual, Gerald Anderson and Joey Marquez. Bayani San Diego Jr.
