YellowCard heads international lineup in one night performance

MANILA, Philippines – Looking for the hottest names in music and action-packed event this summer? Make way for an all-day of awesome music, thrilling skateboard tricks, games, crazy moshpits and hot summer fun as MMI and Circuit Makati bring you Circuit Fest: Music and Skate on May 25 at the newly launched Circuit Makati, the former 21-hectare Santa Ana racetrack sitting next to the Pasig River.

Staged as one of the biggest sporting and entertainment extravaganza in the country this year, Circuit Fest is nothing but a day of mind-blowing music and skate festival featuring international headliners and raw action sports pros hosted by American actor Mark Salling — known for his role as “Puck” on the comedy television series, Glee.

Get ready for an explosive session as American pop punk/alternative rock band YellowCard leads the barrage of stars in a one-night-only experience featuring hits from their best-selling album accolades and recently released reunion studio album Southern Air (2012).

As Circuit Fest gives you musical acts to keep you going throughout the day, joining the headliners rock-to-pop assembly are bands We are the In Crowd, Mayday Parade, The Downtown Fiction, This Century, All Star Weekend, A+ Dropouts,, Before You Exit as well as a YouTube sensation and pop singer Megan Nicole.

With one ticket, everyone can access an international entertainment line-up as well as enjoy hours of power-packed street stunts by skateboarding star Riley Hawk as he pushes limits with his own signature road tricks inspired by his father, skateboarding legend Tony Hawk.

Another special guest to showcase his skating talent is a Filipino pride, Willy Santos who is a Filipino-American born in Subic Bay now based in California, one of the industry’s first Filipino pioneers and touted as the “Manny Pacquiao of skateboarding” or the “Filipino Tony Hawk.”

Happening at the newest entertainment district in the metro, ticket prices start as low as P2,500, which offers access to one of the biggest skate and music events of the year. The event starts at 2:00 pm until 12 midnight and is presented by MMI Live and Circuit Makati.
