Muggy screening
DOMINGO. Poor copy of her comedy film.
Lorlie Pardo is a not-so-happy moviegoer: “I was looking forward to the commercial showing of ‘Ang Babae sa Septic Tank,’ starring Eugene Domingo.
Alas, my excitement turned to frustration and anger because what I saw was a poor version of the movie! The scenes were dark, and the color and sound weren’t balanced. The festival entries I saw at the CCP were technically superior. Why can’t commercial venues come up with the same quality?”

Epifania Dante-Sonjaco, office employee: “I religiously watch GMA 7’s ‘Amaya,’ because it’s different from other local teleseryes, being historical-fiction and drama. I like the period outfits and the use of local dialect, and I admire its impressive cast and high production values.”
Treatment
Aurora Borealis, lawyer: “I like the treatment of celebrities on ‘In the Limelight,’ particularly the style and delivery of Rhian Ramos. But, it’s annoying when Nelson Canlas makes beautiful eyes on camera. Hindi bagay!”
