‘Les Miserables’ wins best musical/comedy Globe

LOS ANGELES – “Les Miserables” on Sunday won the best musical/comedy film Golden Globe, moments after its Australian star Hugh Jackman took the best actor award, as the star-studded event neared its climax.

The all-singing musical adaptation beat fellow nominees “The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel,” “Moonrise Kingdom,” “Salmon Fishing in the Yemen” and “Silver Linings Playbook.”
