Bianca Manalo ‘forever proud’ of ex-BF Win Gatchalian: PH needs you!

Despite having gone their separate ways, Bianca Manalo has nothing but praise for her former boyfriend, Sen. Sherwin “Win” Gatchalian, after his election as Senate president.

Manalo celebrated Gatchalian’s Senate presidency through her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, June 17.

“Will forever be proud of you!” she said, sharing a news report about the senator’s new post. “Well deserved! It’s about time!”

Concluding her greeting, she stated, “The country needs you!”

Gatchalian reposted the actress-beauty queen’s congratulatory greeting via his Instagram Stories, but added no caption.

Manalo and Gatchalian had been together since 2018 before rumors of their separation arose in 2025. While the couple did not confirm outright their breakup, the senator alluded to it after he revealed earlier this year that his love life is “non-existent.”

While Manalo has also yet to publicly comment on the split, Sparkle GMA Artist Center earlier said that she is “single and not in any relationship.” The talent management company made the statement in response to accusations that Manalo was supposedly a third party in the breakup of fellow beauty queen Celeste Cortesi and her partner Jonathan Sterling.

Gatchalian secured the Senate presidency previously held by Sen. Allan Peter Cayetano during a special session, after Sen. Joel Villanueva left the minority bloc and cast the 13th vote required for a leadership change. /ra
