True to its call to appreciate natural beauty and consistent with its advocacy on environmental awareness, the 2026 Miss Philippines Earth pageant concluded its crucial preliminary judging with the delegates parading onstage without makeup on their faces.

The “Beauty of Face” judging, one of the key elements that sets the national pageant and its counterpart international Miss Earth contest apart from the others, was held at the Lotus Hall of Lime Hotel and Resorts Manila in Pasay City on Monday afternoon, June 15.

The 32 delegates from across the country and overseas Filipino communities courageously appeared without a hint of cosmetics on their faces for the crucial judging.

Scores from the Beauty of Face round will be combined with the points from the “Fitness and Form” judging held on the same day, together with the results of the judging for “Intelligence and Environental Awareness,” and “Poise” held on June 14.

These scores will help determine who among the delegates will move on to the semifinal round of the pageant, all of whom will be announced at the coronation show.

Ten delegates were also shortlisted as “Hana Beauties” at the judging event on Monday, and one them will receive the Miss Hana title at the finals.

The coronation show will be held in the town of Malitbog in the province of Bukidnon on June 27. Reigning queen Joy Barcoma will relinquish her title to her successor at the end of the ceremonies.

The winner will represent the Philippines in the 26th Miss Earth pageant later this year, and try to post the country’s fifth victory in the Manila-based international competition. /edv
