Lea Salonga ecstatic after attending BTS Busan concert: ‘What a day!’
Despite the physical exhaustion, Lea Salonga was over the moon after watching BTS perform during the first day of the K-pop supergroup’s two-night “Arirang” concert in Busan, South Korea.
The Broadway superstar was among the thousands of fans — dubbed as Army — who attended the concert on Friday, June 12, as seen in the photo she shared on her Instagram Stories on Saturday, June 13.
Salonga was smiling from ear to ear while posing in front of a banner that featured an image of V, her favorite BTS member.
“Feet hurt, legs are rubbery, but boy what a day! Seeing BTS in Busan was worth it!” she said in the caption.

Just a few weeks prior to the concert, Salonga reiterated during an interview for “What a Life!” podcast how the septet saved her mental health in 2020.
“I started going down this rabbit hole of videos, concerts and all of the things — and it just pulled me out this sad state of affairs that my brain found itself in,” she said. “I have such great respect for them as songwriters, performers, musicians and artists.”
“There is something very genuine…something sincere and real, and it seems that these guys have such integrity. They had me in a chokehold and still here!” she added.
The second night of BTS’ concert in Busan on Saturday also coincides with the group’s 13th-anniversary celebration. /ra
