WATCH: Janine Gutierrez, Jericho Rosales’ entanglements in ‘The Loyalty Game’ trailer
Janine Gutierrez and Jericho Rosales found themselves uncovering suspicions and secrets as a married couple in their upcoming thriller series “The Loyalty Game.”
The actors—who are also a couple in real life—respectively portray the characters of Anna and Ben, whose marriage hides secrets beneath a seemingly perfect facade, as seen in the trailer released by ABS-CBN’s Star Creatives on Monday, June 8.
The clip begins with Rosales declaring his love for Gutierrez, who has grown suspicious of him after discovering that he leaves every night while she is asleep. When she confronts him, he denies it and insists that he has been by her side all night.
Gutierrez is then advised by a friend to test Rosales’ loyalty by hiring a “loyalty tester,” who will attempt to flirt with Rosales and see if he reciprocates. Things take a sinister turn as Rosales interacts with the loyalty testers and is later seen covered in blood.

“Iba yung tono ng show na ’to (This show has a different tone). This is darker, this is more intriguing, more captivating in terms of themes. They put fear in front of you that will make you watch it,” Rosales said during the show’s media presentation.
Gutierrez, for her part, teased more surprises for the viewers.
“Everything is underneath the surface. Even for us, the answers to the questions are revealed as the story progresses,” she noted.
“The Loyalty Game,” directed by Mae Cruz-Alviar, also features Yen Santos, Charlie Dizon, Sofia Andres, Yassi Pressman, Elisse Joson, Kira Balinger, and Maika Rivera, and Carmina Villarroel.
It set for release on the streaming platform Prime Video on July 3. /edv
