Jason Abalos reached out and extended help to a young cyclist, who was seen being assaulted by fellow cyclists in a now-viral video on Facebook.

In the video shared by Facebook user Boy Lens on Wednesday, June 10, two young individuals were seen seemingly ganging up on their fellow cyclist. One of the two hit the latter on the head, while the other one punched him in the face twice. The assaulted cyclist did not fight back.

The video has so far garnered over 6.4 million views, with netizens expressing concern over the young cyclist.

Abalos, who is a cyclist himself, then shared a screenshot from the video and called on netizens to help him connect with the assaulted youngster.

The young cyclist responded via the comments section and Abalos, in turn, thanked the former for being kind despite the assault. The actor also hinted that he will personally meet the individual.

Several netizens praised Abalos for his gesture toward the young cyclist. He then clarified that he only intends to befriend and guide the young cyclists after the incident.

The actor-politician also said the two kids who ganged up on the other kid are also still young, and could still be guided about their violent ways. /edv
