Ellen Adarna turned emotional as she expressed her appreciation for artist Isabel Santos, girlfriend of actor John Lloyd Cruz, for being the “best stepmom” to the former couple’s son Elias.

Adarna showed herself and Santos bonding during their recent trip to Boracay with Cruz, Elias and several other companions, through the celebrity mom’s Instagram Stories on Friday, June 5.

“Eh ‘yung iniyakan kita for being the best stepmom. Mahal kita!” Adarna wrote, without expounding. (The way I cried over you for being the best stepmom. I love you!)

The artist, in turn, shared the actress’ post via her Instagram page and said, “Love you. Thank you for being a friend and everyday textmate.”
