Exact plot details have yet to be revealed, but the film is expected to chronicle Twain’s rise from humble beginnings in Canada to becoming one of the biggest-selling female artists in country music.
Twain, who has five Grammy Awards under her belt, rose to global fame through her country-pop hits such as “Man! I Feel Like a Woman!” “You’re Still the One,” “That Don’t Impress Me Much,” “From this Moment on” and “Any Man of Mine.”
The country singer’s 1997 album “Come on Over” became one of the best-selling albums of all time and remains the best-selling studio album by a female solo artist.
In 2022, a documentary titled “Shania Twain: Not Just a Girl,” which explored the singer’s personal struggles and comeback to the spotlight after a health battle, was released on Netflix.
Twain recently revealed plans for her seventh studio album, “Little Miss Twain,” and was also named host of the 2026 Academy of Country Music Awards. /ra
