Linda Walker actress to visit PH in June to promote ‘education for a better future’

Chinese actress Zhang Yingfei is set to visit the Philippines in June to support education initiatives and charity projects ahead of the reopening of classes nationwide.
The Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce & Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII) announced Zhang’s visit to Manila in a press conference on Wednesday, May 27, in Quezon City.
Zhang, who’s known for portraying Linda Walker in the viral micro-drama “The Heiress Who Won with Brains,” will be in the country from June 8 to 11 for the “Education for a Better Future” campaign.

The character previously became a hot topic online as Linda’s IQ of 180 and her diligence prompted her to score 719 points on a tricky mock exam, a rare feat since the average scores range from 400 to 500.
Linda is an intelligent student who discovers that she is the rightful daughter of a wealthy couple. She overcomes poverty and hardship through hard work and education.
FFCCCII said Zhang’s visit aims to encourage Filipino students to value education, discipline, and perseverance as schools reopen in June.
As part of her itinerary, Zhang is scheduled to pay a courtesy visit to Manila Mayor Isko Moreno at Manila City Hall on June 8 before touring Intramuros and Binondo.
A key activity during her stay will be a June 9 outreach program at Quezon City High School, where Zhang and FFCCCII officials are expected to distribute school supplies and hygiene kits to students.
Expected attendees include Education Secretary Sonny Angara, Chinese Ambassador Jing Quan and Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte.
Organizers said that Zhang is also expected to deliver a short message encouraging Filipino youth to “study hard, dream big, and never surrender to difficulties.”
The FFCCCII also said the visit also aims to strengthen educational and cultural exchanges between Filipinos and Chinese communities. /ra
