Demi Lovato impressed by Janine Berdin’s vocals

Janine Berdin could not seem to contain her elation after American singer-songwriter Demi Lovato noticed and even praised the Filipino artist’s singing chops.
Berdin shared a clip of her belting out her song “What if I miss you for the rest of my life?” on Wish Bus, through her Instagram page on Tuesday, May 19.

Berdin was then applauded by fans and fellow celebrities in the comments section, among them was Lovato who was seemingly blown away by the performance.
“Holy sh**,” Lovato wrote.
In response, Berdin expressed her admiration for the “Heart Attack” singer, saying, “HELLO ????? … I SING AND WRITE BECAUSE I GREW UP WANTING TO BE JUST LIKE YOU. I CANT BELIEVE YOU HEARD ME SING IN THIS LIFETIME.”
Berdin further spoke about her background, from being a kid from Cebu to being an artist signed with record label Island Records Philippines. She also recalled singing Lovato’s songs, including when she joined the reality singing competition “Tawag ng Tanghalan.”
“Thank you thank you thank you, Ms. Demi. I love you. I can’t fit my love in one comment,” she added. “Salamat kaayo madam.”

Berdin rose to fame after joining “Tawag ng Tanghalan” and emerging as the grand champion in 2018. She has since released several tracks including collaboration songs “Mahika,” “Ano Ba Talaga Tayo?” and “Mikasa.” /edv
