‘Moving’ season 2, starring Han Hyo-joo and Zo In-sung, kicks off production

Production for “Moving” season two has already begun, picking up where the events of its first installment left off, particularly, the aftermath of the Jeongwon High School incident.

Disney+ Korea confirmed that the majority of the series’ cast will reprise their roles, though it remains unclear when “Moving” season two will premiere. The streaming giant also shared glimpses of the cast and production team during a script reading session on YouTube on Monday, May 18.

The cast includes Han Hyo-joo, Ryu Seung-ryong, Zo In-sung, Go Youn-jung, Cha Tae-hyun, Ryu Seung-bum, Kim Do-hoon, Kim Sung-kyun, Shim Dal-gi, and Moon Sung-geun.

Sul Kyung-gu, Lee Hee-joon, Ryu Hye-young, Roh Yoon-seo, Kim Sung-kyu, Kim Gun-woo, and Choi Yoon-ji are joining the star-studded lineup.

Rounding up the series are Kim Jong-soo, Park Byung-sun, Kim Shin-rok, Lee Ho-jung, Park Kwang-jae, Kim Gook-hee, Kim Hee-won, Shin Jae-hwi, and Park Han-sol.

Earlier, it was reported that Won Gyu-bin will replace Lee Jung-ha in the role of Bong Seok, as Lee is currently serving in the military.

According to the streaming giant, season two revolves around the superpowered students and their secret-agent parents as they pick up the pieces after the Jeongwon High School incident. As they slowly recover, new threats emerge that threaten their safety.

Based on the webtoon by Kang Full, “Moving” premiered in August 2023 and was a breakout hit at the time of its release. It was the most-watched local original series on Disney+ that year. /edv
