Cup of Joe postpones Davao, CDO concert legs due to scheduling conflicts

Cup of Joe announced that the Davao and Cagayan de Oro legs of their “Stardust” tour will be postponed due to scheduling conflicts, though the Cagayan de Oro leg has already been rescheduled to September.
Through concert promoter CNCA’s Instagram page on Sunday, May 17, Cup of Joe said the postponement of their Davao and Cagayan de Oro shows is due to a scheduled appearance at an awards ceremony abroad, though they didn’t specify what event they’re referring to.
“Due to unforeseen schedule conflicts, the Davao and Cagayan de Oro legs of the ‘STARDUST’ Tour will be postponed. We know many of you have already made plans, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this may cause,” the post read.
The OPM band’s Cagayan de Oro concert will now be held at the Limketkai Atrium on September 12 at 8 p.m. The date for their Davao leg is still being finalized, as of this writing.

Cup of Joe will nonetheless push forward with their “Stardust” concert at the Philippine Sports Stadium on May 23.
The band — composed of Gabriel Fernandez, Gian Bernardino, Raphaell Ridao, CJ Fernandez, and Xen Gareza — has been enjoying a surge of popularity since their 2024 single “Multo” topped music charts. The song was included in their 2025 album, “Silakbo,” which is also enjoying success.
“Multo” was recently nominated for Best Song Asia at the second edition of Music Awards Japan, and was the only Filipino song to be considered for an award. The ceremony will be held at the Toyota Arena Tokyo on June 13. /edv
