What Bea Millan-Windorski, Nicole Borromeo plan to do with prize money

Aside from winning their national titles, 2026 Miss Universe Philippines Bea Millan-Windorski and 2026 Miss Worldwide Philippines Nicole Borromeo also received a handful of special awards that came with a hefty sum.
The two ladies were the “hakot award” beauties of the recent national pageant, with Windorski getting the lion’s share of special awards at 14. Borromeo trailed her with eight citations.
The two national queens faced an intimate group of journalists and online content creators at an event at Manila House in Taguig City on May 15 where they officially received their prize as the two Jell Life Beauties.
“I’m really intent on always donating a portion of my prize money to an advocacy or a cause that I really care about. So I’ve been donating some of my money to Project CURMA, the apl.de.ap Foundation and Green Peace Philippines,” Windorski told Inquirer Entertainment at the sidelines of the event.
Aside from her JellLife Beauty award, she was also Miss Bench, Miss Vitress, Miss Safatos Marikina, Miss Honor Philippines, Miss Wendy’s, Miss Zion Philippines, Miss Wuling, Miss Urban Smiles, one of the Faces of Mags, Miss AMORAP (Misamis Occidental Tourism Ambassadress), Miss Belo, and Miss New Moon.
Borromeo, meanwhile, was proclaimed Miss Abu, Miss Ever Bilena, Miss Great Lengths iColor, Miss Zleep AI, one of the Faces of Mags, Miss AMORAP runner-up, and Asenso Ambassadress of Goodwill (Gem of Misamis Occidental), aside from being a JellLife Beauty.
“With the prize money, I am hoping to save up and kind of build back what I’ve spent. There are so many people that came in to help, and I want them to earn from it too,” she told Inquirer Entertainment.
“When you enter a pageant you do spend a lot money. And I’m very grateful for the local director for supporting me, my whole team. But of course, in the three months you’re not earning money because you can’t have any contracts,” she added.
The two ladies will appear in billboards and will be featured in campaigns for the entire year. “We’ll definitely show our whole support for Miss Worldwide 2026, and of course Miss Universe 2026 all the way,” said Crystal Jacinto, one of the sponsors of Miss Universe Philippines.
Borromeo will join Mister Pilipinas Worlwide Jason Lopez in representing the Philippines at the inaugural staging of the Mister and Miss Worldwide competition, an event that fuses pageantry with theater, performance, and the arts. The winners will have the opportunity to go on an exposure trip around the world.
Windorski will fly to Puerto Rico for the 75th Miss Universe pageant in Puerto Rico, on a mission to post the Philippines’ fifth victory in the international competition. /edv
