Alexa Ilacad, KD Estrada part ways as love team

Alexa Ilacad and KD Estrada confirmed the end of their love team KDLex, citing “circumstances, external factors, and the people surrounding them” as the reason behind their decision.

This was announced through a statement released by the pair’s official fan club, dubbed Sweethearts, on social media on Tuesday, May 12.

“After many heartfelt conversations and with mutual understanding, KDLex decided to part ways as a love team due to the circumstances, external factors, and the people surrounding them,” it said, without expounding. “Though their journey as a pairing has come to an end, the respect, care, and friendship between them remain.”

The fans nonetheless underscored that what the actors shared was genuine, describing the journey they had with the pair as a “beautiful rollercoaster ride.”

“To all the Sweethearts, thank you. Thank you for every moment of love, support, laughter, edits, trends, prayers, patience, and understanding you gave them through the years. They are deeply grateful for all of you and will always carry that love with them wherever life takes them. We hope we can continue to give them the same kindness and support as they move forward individually,” it added.

Ilacad shared the statement via her X page, expressing her gratitude to their supporters.

“I will forever cherish and remember everything you have done for me and KD from the very beginning: the sacrifices, the heartaches, the laughter, and all the beautiful memories and bondings we shared together,” she said.

“And no matter who you choose to support, as long as RESPECT REMAINS, I will continue to love and appreciate all of you. Thank you for all the love, unwavering support, and kindness you have given me and KD. We will always carry that in our hearts,” she stated.

Ilacad and Estrada’s love team started during their stint as “Pinoy Big Brother (PBB): Kumunity Season 10” housemates in 2021. The pair had since starred together in projects including “Run to Me,” “Pira-Pirasong Paraiso,” and “Co-Love.” /edv
