Jerald Napoles defends Kim Molina from netizen pressuring her to get pregnant

Jerald Napoles defended his wife, Kim Molina, against a netizen who was pressuring her to get pregnant amid this year’s celebration of Mother’s Day.
Napoles called out the commenter who left an offensive remark on one of his social media posts.
“Buntisin mo para mawala kembot hahahaha,” the netizen wrote. (Get her pregnant so her swaying will stop hahaha)

Napoles quickly fired back and defended Molina, stressing that the decision to have a child should solely come from his wife.
“Paki galang yung asawa ko. Kung makautos ka ng buntisin walang respeto eh,” Napoles replied. (Please respect my wife. Ordering someone to get pregnant like that is disrespectful.)
“Choice ng asawa ko kung kelan niya gusto (It’s my wife’s choice when she wants it). Her body, her choice,” he added.
Molina later shared a screenshot of her husband’s response on her Facebook account and thanked him for standing up for her.
“When people go beyond overboard na para bang wala akong choice (as if I don’t have a choice). Buti na lang nandyan ka (Good thing you’re there), Jerald Napoles. Forever grateful for you,” she wrote.
In the comments section, Molina said she usually ignores negative remarks online, but decided to share Napoles’ response to highlight the importance of support from loved ones.
“I shared my husband’s reply to show how important it is to have people we love support us in decisions we make for ourselves. Importante yun (That’s important),” she expressed.
“Kung hindi man (if not) from a partner, but also from parents, kapatid (sibling), o kaibigan (friend). We need to respect each other’s wishes and personal goals,” the actress continued.
Molina also clarified that her fitness journey is not about “looking sexy but about being healthy.”
“I’m not trying to be fit just to be ‘sexy.’ Not to be ‘skinny’ — but to be HEALTHY,” she explained. “I aim to inspire women like me who find it hard to maintain a healthy lifestyle.”
“Doing my best to stay fit and ready para sa kung ano mang plano naming personal ng asawa ko in the future (for whatever personal plans my husband and I may have in the future). Mga planong sa amin na lang (plans that are ours alone), that hopefully people respect,” she emphasized.
After 12 years of dating, Molina and Napoles tied the knot at a beach ceremony in Bohol earlier this year.
The pair recently made headlines after Napoles was announced to star in Darryl Yap’s controversial film “Ngongo,” a decision that was supported by Molina.
The National Council on Disability Affairs (NCDA) later condemned the production of the film, saying its title and promotional materials appear to use derogatory language against persons with disabilities (PWDs). /edv
