GMA’s ‘Whispers from Heaven,’ which stars Bea Alonzo, has started filming
A representative from GMA Corporate Communications confirmed that “Whispers from Heaven,” an upcoming political drama starring Bea Alonzo, has started filming, but they declined to comment on the ongoing rumors about Alonzo’s supposed wedding to Vincent Co.
“Nag-start na rin po ang taping (Taping has started),” a GMA representative told Inquirer Entertainment, while they confirmed that production on the political drama will push through.
“Whispers from Heaven” was confirmed to be Alonzo’s upcoming drama with the Kapuso network last March. Led by Zig Dulay and associate director Jorron Lee Monroy, it also stars Tom Rodriguez, Maricar Reyes, Jason Abalos, Jake Macapagal, and Cassy Legaspi.
Details on the upcoming drama’s release date and other necessary information are yet to be revealed, as of press time.

However, when the representative was asked for information about Alonzo’s rumored marriage to the Puregold president, they declined to comment out of respect for the actress’s personal life.
Alonzo and Co, who were confirmed to be in a relationship last year, were rumored to be tying the knot after a marriage bann containing their names was posted at the St. Peter the Apostle Parish in Manila in March 2026. While they remained mum on the allegations, a marriage bann is an official announcement of an affianced couple’s plans to get married based on Catholic traditions.

However, rumors of the pair ending their relationship have been circulating on social media. A report from Inquirer Bandera alleged that the couple is going through a rough patch after failing to agree on certain details of their prenup agreement.
Another report also claimed that Alonzo and Co’s wedding guests are “confused” on whether their wedding will push through.
Alonzo and Co have yet to issue a statement on their rumored wedding and the status of their relationship, as of this writing. /mcm
