Hyun Bin’s risk of choosing a corrupt intelligence officer in “Made in Korea” paid off, as he brought home the Best Actor for Broadcast in the recently concluded 62nd Baeksang Arts Awards. The crime series will drop its second season sometime in 2026, set nine years after the events of the original series.

Other notable winners include Lee Chae-min, who bagged the Best New Actor plum for his gripping performance as a tragic dictator in “Bon Appetit, Your Majesty,” and the Park Chan-wook-helmed “No Other Choice,” which was South Korea’s entry in the Oscars.
