Kris Aquino reveals bout with COVID-19 anew

Kris Aquino suffered from fever and cough as she tested positive again for Covid-19, just after a recent hospitalization.
The Queen of All Media spoke about her bout with the disease—on top of her several autoimmune illnesses—through her Instagram page on Wednesday, May 6, saying it started over a week ago.
In her post, she showed a photo of an antigen kit which showed two lines on the Covid-19 test, indicating a positive diagnosis.
“I’ve been sick from the time I got out of the hospital, early Sunday. Kuya Josh on Monday started to cough and squeeze last night,” she recalled, referring to her eldest son. “I didn’t want him to feel unwelcome and he was wearing his mask so I slept with him.”
Aquino said she felt weak the next day after she took her Methotrexate injectable chemotherapy, then suffered from fever the following days.
“I checked on my friend [JC Buendia] and he had mentioned having been tested for [Covid-19] during his recent hospitalization,” she continued, referring to the Filipino fashion designer. This apparently prompted her to take a test as well.
“I said sleeping is a lost luxury because of my neverending fits of evening coughing,” she added.
In the succeeding photo, Kris showed herself getting injected with medication while lying in her bed. Despite the celebrity mom visibly struggling, she underscored her fighting spirit as she used Justin Bieber’s “Never Say Never” as the background song of her post.

Just last March, Kris went out to meet with friends including her actor godson Dingdong Dantes. She later hinted that the two of them were gearing up for a project. /edv
