The competition took its first major turn as Miss Universe Philippines 2026 officially unveiled its Top 30 semifinalists during the coronation night at the Mall of Asia Arena on Saturday, May 2.
Thirty candidates secured spots in the next round through a combination of public voting, judges’ scores, and special citations. Here are the candidates who made the first cut:

Wildcard 1. Trexy Paris Roxas of Iligan City 2. Clarissa Westram of Cotabato Province 3. Ashley Victoria Subijano of Luisiana, Laguna 4. Catherine Wardle of Samar Island 5. Rachel Hanna Gozum of Santo Tomas, La Union

Other finalists are Alexandra Krishna Oriño of Albay, Adela Mae Marshall of Muntinlupa, Jenrose Javier of Sultan Kudarat, Nicole Cruz of Saranggani (Filipino Society Of The Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia), Alicia Chelsea Buendia of Rizal (Filipino Society Of Southern California), Patricia Ella Evangelista of Quezon Province (Filipino Society Of Australia), Charieze Lianne Cacayorin of Ilocos Norte (Filipino Society Of Hawaii), and Donna Rein Nuguid of Pangasinan.
Completing the Top 30 are Jencel Caña of Cavite, Alexandria Colmenares of Negros Occidental, Lyneree Montero-Yodong of Mountain Province, Chrystel Mae Correos of Tandag City, Erica Jean Cadayday of Camiguin, Jayka Noelle Munsayac of San Jose Negros Oriental (Filipino Society Of Bellevue, Washington), and Justin Beatrice Dellosa Felizarta of Manila.
Composed of the selection committee are Jennylyn Mercado, Crystal Jacinto, Carlos Garcia Candal, Zhao Ha, Ida Aldana, Gazini Ganados, Peewee Isidro, Rhett Eala, Dr. Hayden Kho, and Bryan Lim.
Ten of the semifinalists advanced after topping the third preliminary voting round via the “U Vote” platform, earning them automatic entry into the semifinals even before coronation night.

Another 10 delegates were selected by the pageant’s panel of judges based on their performances in the preliminary competitions, including swimsuit and evening gown, as well as their overall presentation and interview scores.
Completing the Top 30 are five candidates who clinched brand awards handed out by the organization’s partner sponsors, along with five wildcard picks.
The 30 semifinalists will now advance to the next phase of the coronation program, where they will compete in the swimsuit, evening gown, and question and answer portions.
Ahtisa Manalo is set to relinquish her crown to the next woman who will represent the Philippines at the upcoming Miss Universe 2026 pageant later this year. /edv
