P-pop girl group BINI is back in the Philippines after a month-long stay in Los Angeles, California, where the octet achieved several career milestones, including a historic Coachella debut, a performance at the Grammy Museum, and international music award recognition.

BINI spent the past month in the United States for a series of international appearances, highlighted by their history-making debut at the 2026 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, where they became the first all-Filipino girl group to perform at the globally renowned music festival.
The group took the Mojave Stage during both festival weekends on April 10 and 17 in Indio, California, delivering each 45-minute set from their growing catalog.
The girls generated an impressive $5.4 million in earned media value (EMV) for their Coachella appearances, ranking third overall behind festival headliners Justin Bieber ($6.9 million) and Sabrina Carpenter ($6.4 million).
Following their Coachella stint, the eight-member act also performed at the GRAMMY Museum as part of its “Global Spin Live” series on April 21, where they showcased songs from their latest EP, “Signals,” becoming the first Filipino act to be featured in the series.
The group later attended the 2026 Billboard Women in Music at the Hollywood Palladium, where they received the Global Force Award, presented by model-actress Cara Delevingne. The award recognizes artists who have built audiences beyond their home markets.
Even before returning home, BINI secured another international booking after being announced as part of the lineup for Japan’s Summer Sonic. The group is set to perform in Osaka on Aug. 14 and Tokyo on Aug. 16, making them among the Filipino acts joining the major Asian music festival this year.
BINI is also preparing for the kickoff of their “Signals” world tour, with Manila shows scheduled for June. /edv
