Matty Juniosa is going straight to the finals of “Britain’s Got Talent” season 19 after receiving another Golden Buzzer for his powerful rendition of an Aerosmith classic.

Juniosa received a standing ovation for his rendition of Aerosmith’s “Dream On,” which won over the judges and audience at the talent show’s April 25 broadcast (April 26 in the Philippines).

“I don’t even know what to say. You are just effortlessly sensational. Singing just pulls out of you so easily; those high notes are just so sweet. And it’s so lovely to sit back, relax, and enjoy the show, that’s so stellar, a masterclass performance of how to deliver a Class A vocal,” Alesha Dixon, one of the judges, said of Juniosa’s performance.

As the audience chanted for Amanda Holden to press the Golden Buzzer, she declared that it’s her time to give him the recognition, which made him overwhelmingly elated soon after.

Simon Cowell praised the Filipino singer for his “incredible” vocal range and “sweet” personality.

“Alesha summed it up when she said it was a masterclass. That is what it’s all about. Great song, your range is incredible. And you are the sweetest person, I’m so happy for you. Two Golden Buzzers, that’s not bad, right?” he said.

His second Golden Buzzer sends him straight to the finals, where his and his fellow competitors’ performances will be ranked based on the cumulative scores from the judges and the audience.

The Filipino singer earned his first Golden Buzzer from Cowell during his auditions, where he sang “Purple Rain” by Prince.

Juniosa first became known to the public after competing in “Idol Philippines” season one, where he finished in the Top 12. He, along with fellow contestants Enzo Almario and Lucas Garcia, was formed into a trio called iDolls in 2019, but disbanded three years later. /edv
