Caprice Cayetano, Heath Jornales to lead romance drama ‘You’re My Favorite Song’

Caprice Cayetano and Heath Jornales will bring their chemistry to the upcoming romance drama “You’re My Favorite Song,” marking their first time leading a series on the small screen.
GMA announced Cayetano and Jornales’s upcoming project on Saturday, April 25, where they will be joined by fellow “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition” alums Marco Masa and John Clifford.
JP Habac, best known for his work in “I’m Drunk, I Love You” and one of the co-hosts of “Ang Walang Kwentang Podcast,” was tapped to direct the series. The series is based on a concept by Mark Ivan Caro, while “Black Rider” and “My Ilonggo Girl” writer Erwin Caezar Bravo will write its screenplay.
The upcoming drama is scheduled for release sometime in 2026.
Further details are yet to be revealed, though the Kapuso network said the young cast is preparing to “bring kilig and excitement to viewers.”
The show’s lead stars gained widespread recognition after joining the second installment of “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition,” where Cayetano was eventually the Big Winner with Lella Ford.
Meanwhile, Jornales and Krystal Mejes finished as the Second Big Placers.
While Cayetano and Jornales were shipped during their “PBB” stint, the rising actress quickly shut down talks of things happening between them as she only saw the latter as her “little brother.”
“May itsura naman si Heath. Nafe-feel ko po [na] wala po kaming nafe-feel towards each other. Kasi hindi naman po talaga kami nag-uusap sa bahay (Heath is good-looking. But for me, we don’t have feelings for each other. We don’t talk in the House much),” she said, adding that she wants to focus on enjoying her life as a teenager and her newfound success. /edv
