Louis Tomlinson unfollows Zayn Malik on Instagram after alleged fistfight

It seems like Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik are entangled in another feud after Tomlinson unfollowed Malik on Instagram following an alleged fistfight while filming a documentary.
Tomlinson is no longer following Malik on Instagram as of Sunday, April 19. Meanwhile, he still follows Harry Styles, Niall Horan, and the late Liam Payne.
The “PillowTalk” singer, on the other hand, is still following his former One Direction bandmate on the platform.

It remains unknown why Tomlinson unfollowed Malik, but The Sun reported that the two got into an altercation, leading Malik to punch the “Lemonade” singer. According to the UK-based media outlet, Malik made a remark about Tomlinson’s late mother Johannah that made the latter unhappy.
“Louis was stunned and in shock. As he went to move, Zayn then attacked him. Zayn punched him straight in the face. Because he was wearing rings, it cut Louis’ head,” the report was quoted as saying.
The alleged incident occurred during the filming of their upcoming Netflix documentary series, which follows the singers on a road trip down memory lane in the US. The streaming giant has yet to clarify whether the docu-series will be put on hold or be shelved for good.
Neither the singers nor their respective agencies have addressed the reports as of press time.
This is not the first time Tomlinson and Malik were involved in a public spat. In May 2015, the “Eyes Closed” singer called out Tomlinson for “not having a life” and would rather make “b*tchy comments” about him.
@Louis_Tomlinson remember when you had a life and stopped making bitchy comments about mine ?

Tomlinson and Malik first met while auditioning on “The X Factor (British TV series) series 7,” and were eventually grouped together with Styles, Horan, and Payne in One Direction. The quintet is one of the biggest groups in the 2010s and is known for their hit songs “What Makes You Beautiful,” “Night Changes,” “One Thing,” and “Best Song Ever,” among others. Malik eventually departed from the group in 2015.
Years after Malik left One Direction, Tomlinson said in an interview that his late mom asked for the two to reconcile, saying that “life is too f***ing short” before her death.
The singers reconnected later in 2017 and were publicly seen together at Payne’s wake in 2024. /edv
