‘Surprise’ Mister Pilipinas Worldwide 2026 winner gets int’l assignment
An additional title was added in the last minute at the 2026 Mister Pilipinas Worldwide finals held recently. And its recipient, Enzo Bonoan, has just received an important assignment.
The returning candidate was proclaimed “Mister Pilipinas-Cosmo” at the 2026 Miss Universe Philippines Charity Gala Night held at the City of Dreams Manila in Parañaque City on Saturday evening, April 18.
At the 2026 Mister Pilipinas worldwide final competition held at Bigger Studio in Mandaluyong City on April 15, he was proclaimed “Mister Pilipinas 2026” but did not receive any sash or trophy.

When the 2026 edition of the male tilt was launched in February, the organization said only seven titles are at stake. But eight titleholders were proclaimed at the show, including Bonoan.
The other winners of the evening were Mister Pilipinas-Supranational Felipe Marasigan, Mister Pilipinas-Manhunt Supermodel JP Gundayao, Mister Pilipinas-International John Wayne Alba, Mister Pilipinas-Global MJ Ordillano, Mister Pilipinas-Eco International Godfrey Murillo, and Mister Pilipinas Worldwide Jason Lopez.
With his updated title, Bonoan is now set to represent tje Philippines at the inaugural edition of the Mister Cosmo contest, from the same organization behind the Miss Cosmo pageant in Vietnam.
When asked during the recently-concluded contest, Bonoan said it would be his last national pageant, and he was hoping to be given the opportunity to represent the country in an international tilt.
His wish has indeed come true, a result of manifestation, and something he has been aspiring for since he first joined last year’s Mister Pilipinas Worldwide competition.
