Jhoanna Robles of BINI and Stell Ajero of SB19, recently took part in a short film that pays tribute to the role of sari-sari stores in Filipino communities.

The tribute film, titled “Pangalan,” is the latest and final installment of a supermarket chain’s series spotlighting everyday Filipino stories, this time focusing on how small neighborhood shops serve not just as retail spaces but as vital community hubs.

Jhoanna and Stell, joined by rapper Skusta Clee, appeared in the project to share personal reflections tied to sari-sari stores, highlighting the cultural familiarity of such go-to spots for daily essentials and casual gatherings.
